Faith groups across Norfolk & Waveney unite to call for climate justice at the COP26 UN climate talks

From 21st – 29th August, faith groups in Norfolk came together to do a multifaith relay pilgrimage towards Glasgow, where world leaders plan to meet in November for the COP26 UN climate talks. Organised by Quakers and the Church of England in Norfolk, the pilgrimage route ran in sections between churches and Quaker meeting houses, allowing participants to join by walking, cycling or taking public transport for as many or as few sections as they would like to.

The pilgrimage organisers invited anyone of any faith group or none to join to express their urgent concern that the climate talks at COP 26 produce realistic commitments by governments to the radical changes needed to save the planet from ecological disaster.
