Proposed Pilgrimage for COP26 across Norfolk & Waveney

The Quakers in Norfolk are working with other denominations on this initiative & are in the process of setting up a co-ordinating group to finalise the details.

It will be spread out over a week or so with various staging posts across the region: it is hoped to start from Great Yarmouth on Saturday 21st August concluding the following Sunday – 29th August – at 5pm in Kings Lynn.

The stages will not be too long – 5 to 10miles – & they can be done by any sustainable means – walking, cycling, bus…

The aim of this pilgrimage is to bear witness to the importance of COP26 [the UN Climate change conference to be held in Glasgow in November 2021].
